In this course we will make extensive use of LTspice.

Course content – Introduction to linear circuit analysis. Kirchhoff's laws, operational amplifiers, node and loop analysis. Thevenin, Norton, and other network theorems; first order RL and RC circuits. Credits: 3

Corequisite: EE 220D; Prerequisites: MATH 182

Policies

  • No laptops, Internet appliances (e.g. Kindle, Nook, Ipad, etc.), smart phones, tablets, may be used during lectures, quizzes, or exams. Calculators are okay.
  • No late work accepted. There are too many students to try and keep track of late work.
  • The final exam will not be returned at the end of the semester, not even temporarily for you to review.
  • Regularly being tardy for lectures, leaving in the middle of lectures, or earlier from lectures is unacceptable without prior consent of the instructor. The most important part of being successful, and showing that you may be competent, is showing up on time (or better yet, early!).
  • Cheating or plagiarism will result in an automatic F grade in the course (so do your own homework!)
  • Questions for the instructor (only) should be asked in person (not via email). Please talk to the instructor. Please don't email the instructor.
