Lab Report:

    Lab description

Go through first part of the Tutorial 1 and edit webpage: 1) showing some images (screenshots) with simple coherent narrative, and 2) discuss how will I backup my future labs.

On the first day of the lecture, Dr. Baker walked us through each steps to set up the cadence account. However, the following steps weren’t covered during the lecture period but Dr. Baker mentioned that we need to delete the following files (divaDRC.rul, divaEXT.rul and divaLVS.rul) and replace them with diva_rul_files.zip.

The new divaDRC.rul, divaEXT.rul and divaLVS.rul files were added.

After installing all the necessary files, start Cadence’s Virtuoso and build a schematic as shown in the Tutorial 1.

Draw the schematic using buttons and also using short-cut keys and exploring different tools and options. Get familiarize with layout of the program and follow the steps closely.

After drawing the schematics, run the simulation and check for errors.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I will primarily edit the web page using WORD and saving them to my desktop and transfer the page to CMOSedu by using Windows Explorer.

Once I’m finished with the lab report, I’ll zip the whole folder and email it to myself for a back up and have access to other computers.
