Lab 1 - EE 421L

For Lab 1, I will be using MobaXterm and Cadence. MobaXterm will allow me to login to Cadence to run simulations on a schematic.

First, I logged into MobaXterm. This allows me into Cadence where I uploaded libraries and tried getting a feel for the functions of the program. This first lab goes through the first part of tutorial 1 on the CMOSedu website. Using the command ‘virtouso &’ to open up Cadence, I constructed a simple schematic as seen in Figure 1. With quick key I, I found the components needed for the figure below.

I then simulated the schematic that exhibits a voltage divider yielding the results in Figure 2.
