Textbook: CMOS Circuit Design, Layout and Simulation, Third Edition and technical papers to be handed out at various points during the semester by the instructor.

 

Course description - Noise mechanisms in semiconductor devices, noise calculations, low noise designs, high gain multistage amplifiers, matched filters, shielding. Prerequisites: Graduate standing or consent of instructor.
