The design was an idea of my own. Combining my experience as an electrician and the knowledge I gained through UNLV, my team and I were able to design and prototype a working model of the electrical tester to improve workplace safety.

My idea turned out to be a good one. Our team won two awards in the 2017 design competition. We won an award for Sustainability, and we won the Grand Prize as well.
