Voyager VDDN Board
Daniel’s PCB Designs
Designed for Vikas Vinayaka

About

·       This PCB was designed to test the north side of the voyager chip designed by Vikas Vinayaka. The chip was created in the AMS SiGe 0.35um BiCMOS process and the main circuits on it are an APD (avalanche photodiode) and a SiPM (silicon photomultiplier). More information about the chip can be found on Vikas’s Voyager page.

·       This is the first legitimate PCB design that Daniel created using the Eagle software. Vikas and Bryan Kerstetter guided Daniel by offering useful tips and advice.

·       Once the PCB was received from manufacturing, Daniel soldered and populated the board. The finished board can be seen on Daniel’s PCB Assembly page.
