About Me
Daniel Senda was born on
February 17, 1995 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He graduated from East Career and
Technical Academy in June of 2013 with an Advanced Honors Diploma emphasized in
Integrated Technology. He also completed his Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering
at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in May 2020. Now, he is currently pursuing
a Master of Science in electrical engineering at the University of Nevada, Las
Vegas.
After graduating high school, Daniel
was a part of a start-up company where he gained valuable work experience. He
joined the start-up as an intern when the company only had a few employees. He
started off completing several research tasks and promptly got hired as an
official member of the team working alongside the lead tech engineer.
Although the start-up was a great
experience, Daniel moved on and got a position at the College of Southern
Nevada DWED division as an assistant instructor. The responsibilities of the
position required certifications to be able to administer standardized tests.
He also held electrical lab classes and taught students basic electrical
wiring. In addition, Daniel held the responsibility in organizing materials and
equipment for the labs that would take place under the Facilities Maintenance
and Operations (FMO) program.
Working at
CSN gave Daniel valuable work experience, but he continued ahead to his current
position by taking up a research opportunity offered by Dr. Baker. Dr. Baker’s
research group at UNLV serves an important and unique role. The group as a
whole works together to continue developing research on integrated chip design.
Daniel currently partakes in technician type work, designing PCBS, designing
custom parts that are 3D printed, and Cadence Virtuoso layout. In addition,
Daniel has been assigned transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) circuit
research duties associated with the Dr. Hines Research Group.
