Lab 1: Intro to Cadence

 In this lab we setup and prepare Cadence for use in the rest of the semester.

 

  As part of the tutorial we were to create a voltage divider and simulate it inside of cadence.

 
 In the following is my first schematic before simulation the design.

    below is the corrected schematic after checking and simulation results.

 As expected the simulator shows the output at half of the input. This is becuase the ratio of the resistors is 1:1 




  2.) In addition to following the tutorial. I was tasked to show how I will back up my files.

   Below is my local folder. I will be zipping everything and uploading it to google drive as shown in the following figure.

 I believe this to be a valid backup solution, as at the end of each lab and periodically during I will upload and create a Zip file in both locations.
