The
purpose of this lab was to learn how to create a lab report on the
website using KompoZer and to get more familiar with Cadence by going
through a tutorial.
Pre-lab:
Reaching
out to Dr. Baker to get access to CMOSedu and downloading the required
folders to be able to create the lab report.
To begin with, as stated in the tutorial instructions, I replaced the files that had a bug.
I then opened Cadence with the commands shown in the image
The next step was to create a new library, open the schematic window, and create 2 instances(adding 2 resistors)
After that I added a ground and voltage source , wired the circuit together, and labeled the wires with names.
Then I launched Cadence's SPICE simulator, selected the tran analysis, and selected the wires of the signals I wanted to plot
Once everything looked right, I hit the green button to run the simulation and got the following results
In
order to backup the labs so no work is lost, I will add all the
relevant files for each lab into its own folder, as shown below
After that, I zipped the file and emailed it to myself
