This chip, "Solar Sailer",
is designed in the AMS SiGe 0.35um BiCMOS process. This chip contains
circuits to interface with APD (avalanche photodiode) and SiPM
(silicon photomultiplier).
The following circuits are present on the
chip:
- Transimpedance amplifiers (TIA) - 2 types
- Comparators - 4 types
- 4-bit Flash analog-to-digital converter
- 10-bit serial-input digital-to-analog converter
- 4-bit current mode Flash analog-to-digital converter
- APD
- SiPM
